=MARKET BUZZ: Malaysia KLCI Off 0.9%, Lowest In More Than 3 Months; Outlook Weak-Dealer
KUALA LUMPUR (Mar 25) -- Malaysia KLCI falls 0.9% to 1652.55, its lowest in more than three months, amid selldown in Asian stock markets on global economic growth concerns. Malaysia Airports Holdings declines 4.3% to MYR7.36 to lead index losers. All sectors are in the red; losers outnumber gainers nearly four-to-one with more than 988 million shares worth MYR476 million changing hands. Nikkei Asia300 Index declines 1.5%. Market and technical indicators are flashing negative signs, says a dealer with local brokerage; adds, “I’m not sure how long the selling will last, or how low will it go at this point... outlook is negative for at least the next few days.” Recommends investors to hold on to dividend-yielding stocks and trim high beta stocks.
