=MARKET BUZZ: Malaysia’s KLCI Likely Lower; CGS-CIMB Tips Support At 1650
KUALA LUMPUR (Mar 15) -- Malaysia’s KLCI likely lower as details on Brexit and US-China trade deal awaited. The benchmark index slipped 0.2% to 1674.52 Thursday. Overnight, Dow Jones industrial Average ended little changed, S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite fell 0.1% and 0.2%. May Brent crude fell 0.5% to $67.23 a barrel. “Blue chips might trade sideways amid uncertainties over Brexit and US-China trade talks,” says TA Securities. Adds, trading velocity on small caps will focus on oil & gas and construction related stocks. CGS-CIMB Research expects buying interest in Bursa stocks to run out of steam, could potentially test 1650.
